Cut

This option is used to remove selected elements in a workspace so that you can paste the contents to other elements. When an element is cut, it is not removed until it has been pasted to another element.

Cutting Elements

1. Select a single element or multiple elements (see the Cutting, copying, and pasting subsection of "Keyboard Navigation" or the Selecting Multiple Blocks subsection of "Mouse Navigation").

2. From the Edit menu, select Cut.

After cutting elements, you can paste them to a single location or multiple locations (see the Paste section).
