UCS FTR 900 Kit

1. Shall provide a kit with transmitter, receiver, fiber optic cabling and mounting hardware that supports long distance extension of USB signals over multimode fiber optic cabling
   1. USB input requirements
      1. Shall provide one (1) USB-C connector on the rear panel for host computer
      2. Shall support USB 3.2 hosts
      3. Shall support data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps
   2. USB output requirements
      1. Shall provide an integrated two-port hub of USB 3.0 Type A connectors on the rear panel for peripheral devices
         1. Provide 5 Volts, 1.5 A on each port to power a peripheral device
      2. Shall support USB 3.2, 2.0, or 1.1 devices
      3. Shall support data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps
   3. Interconnection requirements
      1. Shall provide interconnection between transmitter and receiver over multimode fiber optic cabling
      2. Shall provide two (2) LC-type fiber optic connectors on rear panel
   4. Transmission requirement
      1. Shall provide a fiber optic signal transmission distance capability of 150 m (492’) over OM4 multimode fiber optic cabling
   5. Power requirements
      1. Device shall be equipped with an external, universal AC Extron Everlast power supply capable of supporting 100 - 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz
   6. General requirements
      1. Shall include 10 m (32.8’) OM4 multimode fiber optic cable with pre-terminated LC-type connectors
      2. Enclosures shall be a 1” (2.5 cm) high, eighth rack-width (Tx), quarter rack-width (Rx) metal enclosures
      3. Shall be rack mountable with optional rack shelf or rack mounting brackets
      4. Shall be wall or furniture mountable with (3) included ZipClip mounting kits
      5. Shall provide LED indicators on the front panel for power, link status, and host status
      6. Shall meet regulatory compliances
         1. CE, c-UL, KCC, UL
         2. CE, C-tick, FCC Class A, ICES, VCCI Class A
         3. RoHS, WEEE
      7. Shall provide at least (7) year parts and labor warranty on the Extron Everlast Power Supply
      8. Shall provide at least three (3) year parts and labor warranty on active hardware
   7. Approved kit shall be the Extron UCS FTR 900 Kit, part number 42-298-01; no alternates or equals.
