Information Update About Spectre, Meltdown, and Extron Products (Updated January 9, 2018)

Recent product security research findings have identified two security issues known as Meltdown and Spectre. These issues impact modern device processors and affect nearly all traditional computing devices and operating systems.

The Spectre and Meltdown issues are not Extron product vulnerabilities. There are no known exploits that impact Extron products or customers.

Extron recommends checking with your organization about the availability of updates for computers, servers, and mobile devices as most manufacturers have already released mitigations. Always download Extron software, firmware, and drivers from trusted sources such as Extron.com.
