Extron Announces Two New MediaLink® Switchers with Integrated Stereo Audio Amplifiers

Anaheim, California (July 7, 2004) - Extron Electronics introduces the Extron MLS 304SA and MLS 406SA multi-format active switchers with integrated stereo amplifiers. These new MediaLink switchers are economical solutions for single-projector classrooms and boardrooms. In addition to convenient and versatile video switching, the MLS 304SA and MLS 406SA both provide 24 watts (2 x 12 watts rms) for 4 ohm speakers or 16 watts (2 x 8 watts rms) for 8 ohm speakers.

"The MLS 304SA and MLS 406SA are useful additions to the MediaLink family of products," says Lee Dodson, vice president of marketing for Extron. "They expand on the possibilities of effective sound reinforcement in smaller scale AV systems." The MLS 304SA and MLS 406SA both deliver a variety of audio options designed for small integrated systems, including adjustable volume control, which can be controlled by the front panel, a MediaLink controller, or as part of a third party RS-232 control system. List price for the MLS 304SA is $995.00, and list price for the MLS 406SA is $1,495.00. Both models will be available in August 2004.
