Design Rule Verification

This option runs the Design Rule Verification utility to help ensure that the configuration and set of presets you designed will work successfully.

Running the Design Rule Verification Utility

  1. Ensure that you are working in Emulate mode.

  2. Save the configuration file (see the Save and Save As sections).

  3. From the Tools menu, select Design Rule Verification. The utility runs and reports one of two results:

  4. Design Verified Successfully (see the Design Verified Successfully subsection of "DSP Usage")

  5. Overload Possible (see the Overload Possible subsection of "DSP Usage")
