Save

This option is used to save the configuration file you currently have open. You can save the file while the application is in Live mode. However, only presets that are already part of the file or presets that are created while in Live mode will be saved with the file. Presets that exist only on the device are not saved with the file (see the Emulate Mode Versus Live Mode section). Configuration files have an EDC file extension. The default file name when saving a configuration is <Product Name>_DSPconfig1.edc where <Product Name> is the shortened version of the Extron product name.

Saving a Configuration

1. From the File menu, select Save. If this is the first time saving the configuration, the Save Configuration File as... dialog opens.

If the Save Configuration File as... dialog box opens:

1. Browse to the location where the configuration file is to be saved.

2. In the File name field, enter a name for the configuration file.

3. Click Save.  

The configuration file is saved.
