The Extron BT 100 AT D is a single-gang decorator-style Bluetooth Dante Audio Interface for integrating Bluetooth devices onto a Dante-enabled audio system. This easy-to-use wall panel allows a Bluetooth-enabled mobile device to serve as the communication interface in a conferencing system while also supporting stereo audio playback from a range of compatible Bluetooth sources. Control of pairing, volume, and playback media is possible from the front panel, RS-232, or the Dante network connection. The BT 100 AT D interfaces with any Dante‑enabled audio processor over a standard local area network, such as an Extron DMP Plus Series AT Model. It can be powered through PoE, allowing a single network connection from a central equipment rack for bidirectional audio, control, and power.Bluetooth
With the BT 100 AT D, any Bluetooth equipped mobile device can be used for audio conferencing in the system. This can be useful when transferring from an existing cell phone call to the conference room or when it's more convenient to initiate the conference from a cell phone's contact list. The Bluetooth connection can also be used to play back program material from a cell phone or tablet in the room's speaker system.
Dante
With Dante audio networking from Audinate, AV system designers now have an audio network that excels in five important objectives: fidelity, stability, flexibility, ease of implementation, and ease of use. Dante audio networking provides digital audio distribution over local and wide area networking, using standard network hardware or by connecting into a standard network infrastructure. This provides many advantages, including audio system scalability, easier installation, and simplified wiring.
Local or Remote Control
Full control of BT 100 AT D functions is possible via LAN or RS-232 from a connected control system, including device pairing, track skip, and device volume. All functions are additionally controllable from the backlit buttons on the front panel.
