USB Extenders

Extron USB Extenders are specifically engineered for Professional AV applications and enable USB peripheral devices to be remotely located away from the host computer. Transmissions can be sent up to 1980 feet (600 meters) over twisted pair cable or up to 30 km (18.75 miles) over fiber optic cabling. Extenders consist of transmitter and receiver sets that are linked together using either a single, standard CATx cable or fiber optic cabling. These extenders are compatible with USB 3 including previous standards, support data rates up to USB 5Gbps, and provide power for connected USB peripherals. USB Extenders are available in convenient form factors that can be mixed and matched for ease of integration: tabletop versions and a double-spaced AAP™ AV Connectivity Module.
