This cable is recommended for plenum applications that require passing of ID bit/DDC communications. The plenum-rated coating of the Extron VGA (15-pin HD) cable provides special fire protectant agents for use in applications where National Electric Code (CL2P)—fire department rated cable—must be installed. This cable uses Extron MHRVGAP Cable and is ideal for extending VGA–UXGA signals long distances while maintaining signal integrity.
