Console View

The Console View option provides access to all gain points plus a meter bridge in a single view. This is useful for fine tuning gain structure during system testing and commissioning.

See the Console View Workspace subsection of "Workspaces Overview" for more information.

Viewing Input and Output Activity

In the Console View workspace, the orientation of the signal flow is based around the meter bridge. All meters are displayed horizontally across the top of the workspace. Signal flow, therefore, proceeds downward from the input meters, and upward toward the output meters. This orientation differs from the left-to-right nature of the other workspaces and may take a moment to get used to. Study the screenshot below to familiarize yourself with the signal flow.

To view the status of the input and output signal chain:

From the View menu, select Console View. Alternatively, press <F5> on your keyboard. The Console View  workspace opens.

MUTE buttons that are shaded red indicate that the mute is engaged. The number displayed above a meter or below a group of controls denotes the input or output channel number.
