Mixer Operation

The MVC 121 Plus has two mic/line level inputs and a line level input, each of which are mixed into the fixed and variable line level outputs. See the Mix-point Gain section for more information regarding the Mix-point dialog box components and mix-point gain.

Mixer

DSP Configurator provides control of the mixer that is used to mix all inputs to the outputs. Each of the microphone and stereo line inputs is connected to a mix-point for each of the outputs. In general, mix levels are set relative to each other, achieving a desired blend of input signals at an optimal output level. The optimal output level is close to but not in excess of 0 dBFS at the output volume meter while accounting for processing that occurs at the line output signal chain).
