Line Input Controls

Line Input Channel

There are fourteen (14) stereo line input channels. Channel controls and processing blocks are identical for each input channel.

Each input channel Gain block provides a single stereo fader with a gain range of −18 to +24dB, and a level setting text field below the fader. Adjustments are in 1dB increments.

L/R peak meters, located post-fader and post-ADC (analog to digital converter), display level at -60 to 0dBFS, with a last-peak-level (peak hold) readout below the meter. L/R mute buttons independently mute the left and right channels to the stereo buss. L/R polarity can be set to +/- (positive/negative), with + as the default.

L/R trim controls, with a range of ± 6dB adjustable in 0.1 dB increments, are controlled using up/down scroll arrows, or values can be entered into the level text field. Trim control scrolling accelerates in two stages when click + hold is applied to a scroll arrow. The default setting is unmuted, at unity gain (0.0dB).

Click the fader handle or click within the fader area to bring focus to the fader. Level can be adjusted using any of the following methods:

Grab fader - click + hold fader handle, then drag to desired level in 1dB steps.

Up/down arrow or Page Up/Page Down - click or tab to fader handle, then use up/down arrow keys to the desired level in 1dB steps. Page Up/Page Down keys increase/decrease level in 10dB steps.

Level setting text field - click in or tab to the level text field (resolution is in 1dB increments). Type a new value, then press Enter or Tab to another area.
