Select a device in the IP Link® Tree window. Select the Front
Panel tab. Select a control button. In the Button Operations section,
select the User Defined tab. Expand the desired serial port (click
the + sign), and select User Defined Command. Enter the desired command in the
Command field. Drag the user-defined command to either the Press or Release section.
You may, instead, select the command and click
the green Arrow button
next to either the Press or Release section to associate the function
with the associated button operation (press or release).
