E-Training On Demand
Extron's E-Training on Demand is a training service that meets the need for urgent employee training on specific topics. This training is essentially geared toward software applications and utilities which are required to be installed for optimum performance and control of Extron Products.
This On Demand training does not satisfy the requirements for Extron’s Certification Programs. Please visit the Extron Certification Overview Web page or contact your Extron Customer Service Representative for further information on Extron’s Certification Programs.
An interactive simulation of the utility will be presented with narration which will guide the user through specific tasks within the application. Learners can go directly to a task within the application which they need to understand or move through the topic in the order they appear to get a full understanding of the complete application.
Unlike all other E-Training Programs which require users to login and register as a user, E-Training On-Demand will be openly available to all resellers, consultants, and educational institutes through the Extron specialty Web sites.

Global Configurator is a simple-to-use, yet comprehensive software application that allows non-programmers to configure a wide range of Extron IP Link-enabled products. It provides an integrated environment for defining A/V control and monitoring system functionality from an easy-to-use graphical user interface. It's simple enough to use to configure a single room controller, yet powerful enough to facilitate building a Web-based asset management and remote monitoring system for hundreds of A/V devices in multiple locations.

In this course, you'll learn everything you need to know about using the software, from entering IP settings, scheduling and monitoring events, to detailed device and button configuration. If you are new to Global Configurator, we recommend you work your way through the topics in order as they appear, as each topic builds on the previous one. This course is designed to allow you to learn at your own pace, so take your time and feel free to repeat any section at any time. Extron's MLC 52 MediaLink Controllers are basic user interfaces for A/V control in classroom environments. All four models are designed for controlling displays via IR, while RS models also offer unidirectional RS-232 serial control capabilities. The MLC 52 Series allows staff members with little or no training to walk into a multimedia classroom and operate the A/V system with ease.
