Product Manager – Control Systems

Description:
This candidate will focus on developing and growing the current line of Extron control products. The candidate should have an active interest in keeping up with the changing landscape of the technologies and trends in the audio visual systems marketplace.

Responsibilities:

• Create product roadmaps
• User studies
• Competitive analysis
• Customer feedback
• Document detailed product requirements
• Requirement gathering from internal and external customers
• User stories and use cases
• Product features
• Application workflows and diagrams
• Communicate vision with management
• Maintain alignment of features with sales and marketing counterparts
• Support defining product launch strategies
• Subject matter expert for training and marketing initiatives
• Support full lifecycle process for multiple products, including field and customer support issues.
• Ability and comfortable training internal and external customers on the features and use of new products.

Qualifications:

• Product management experience
• Project management experience
• Audio Visual industry experience a plus
• AMX or Crestron control system design or programming
• IT and Networking systems and protocols
• Excellent verbal and written, demonstrable communication skills
• Strong attention to details, highly organized, computer literate
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment

Education:

• BSEE, BSCE, BSCS
• Minimum of 5 years Audio Visual industry or product management experience
