MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
Will aid the Manufacturing Engineering Department for production needs, requirements, projects and tasks associated with manufacturing Extron Products. This includes performing minor repairs and routine maintenance.
Qualified Candidates will have:
* Experience working in a production and manufacturing environment.
* Ability to design and create assembly aids (fixtures/tools).
* Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics , and/or PLC's.
* Experience reading schematic and mechanical drawings.
* Hands on experience with tools and shop machinery.
* Design and construct production fixtures, tools, or similar equipment for manufacturing needs.
* Maintain all hand tool calibration requirements.
* Will assemble small electronic or mechanical parts as part of production rework or new construction.
* Will assemble, fix, maintain and retrofit tables, racks, shelving and furniture.
* Experience soldering and utilizing shop tools for creating or modifying PCBAs and /or metal parts or connectors.
* Heavy lifting required.
* Excellent communication skills, (written, and verbal)
* Strong attention to details, highly organized, computer literate
* Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment
