During the development of our HPA Series power amplifiers, we added so many features that we have now decided to give these amplifiers a new name: the Extron XTRA Series power amplifiers. These new professional grade, 200 watt rms power amplifiers feature an Extron exclusive, advanced Class D amplifier design that offers XTRA performance and XTRA efficiency with extremely low power consumption and low heat generation. As ENERGY STAR qualified amplifiers, Extron is pleased to lead the way in offering the XTRA Series for energy efficient A/V systems. The XTRA Series is available as the XPA 1002 for 4/8 ohm speaker systems and the XPA 2001 for 70 volt or 100 volt distributed speaker systems.

We’ve Added XTRA Performance:

• XTRA Power Output - The XTRA Series amplifiers double the power output of the HPA Series, delivering 200 watts rms power output for driving speaker systems in larger rooms.
  
  
• XTRA Efficient - The XTRA Series amplifiers are ENERGY STAR qualified products with less than 1 watt power consumption in standby, reducing operating costs. All XTRA Series amplifiers also feature an auto power-down mode to meet ENERGY STAR 2.0 requirements.
  
  
• XTRA Cool - The XTRA Series amplifiers convert up to 90% of the incoming power to the outputs, resulting in low heat generation so no fans or vents are necessary.
  
  
• XTRA Small - The XTRA Series are housed in 1U, half rack width enclosures, delivering full-sized amplifier power while taking up as little as one quarter the size of many comparable power amplifiers.
  
  

ULTRA LOW POWER CONSUMPTION

The Extron XTRA Series consumes less than 1 watt in standby and just 10 watts when idle, far less than other amplifiers with comparable power output.
