MediaLink Controllers

The MLC 62 RS D and the MLC 62 IR D MediaLink® Controllers are easy-to-use keypad controllers for classrooms and meeting facilities. Both models mount in a Decora-style wallplate and offer backlit soft touch buttons for a contemporary look and feel. Each provides control capabilities for common AV functions including power, input switching, and volume control. These controllers serve as a replacement for a display's handheld IR remote, providing user-friendly control for a projector or flat panel display, as well as eliminating problems related to misplaced IR remotes, confusing menus, and dead batteries.

• Six or eight fully configurable backlit soft-touch buttons - A full sheet of pre-printed buttons is included for a wide range of custom labeling options with no engraving required
• Decora®-style wallplate with both black and white faceplates included
• Universal display control - MLC 62 IR D offers IR control, and the MLC 62 RS D offers IR and unidirectional RS-232 control
• Room control - MLC 62 RS D offers two relays for controlling lights and screens, and a digital input for interfacing with a switch or sensor

Easy Configuration with No Programming Knowledge Required

The MLC 62 D controllers can be configured using easy-to-use Extron configuration software via mini USB or RS-232, and includes support for the extensive library of Extron certified ready-to-use IR and serial device drivers. The mini USB port can be easily accessed from the front for configuration or system updates without having to remove the installed product.
